Emergency medicine leads us to face extremely critical situations where we have to act quickly without making mistakes.
The pediatric population presents several challenges, including the administration of medications at the right dose and concentration.
With funding from the emergency department of Charles Lemoyne Hospital, EZDrips was developed in order to facilitate the administration of these drugs.
We have tried to simplify as much as possible the drug administration by offering simple recipes with the material usually available in the emergency room.
The project was conducted in close collaboration with nurses, pharmacists and pediatric emergency medicine specialists.
